Closing this year's high season with the beautiful destination wedding of Marta and Ignacy in Wroclaw, Poland, a colourful city dressed in autumn colours in the middle of October.
I met Ignacy during our Erasmus in Portugal. He was the heart and soul of our group, organising the most crazy trips and gatherings in the middle of nowhere where all of our friends and future friends would join; a barbecue in the middle of a forest or on the banks of the river, jumping in waterfalls, exploring abandoned places and always by the sound of guitars and singing.
When 3 years later he told me he was going to propose to Marta at a surprise trip in Porto and asked me to take their engagement photos, I was so excited!
And there we were, travelling to Poland from different parts of the world (me as the photographer and 2 of our Erasmus friends as guests) for their wedding, which we were sure was going to be a crazy party (how could it not be?! Both of them are full of surprises!)
And of course it did not disappoint!
I had the best time photographing their wedding from preparation to the end of the party; they both have the sweetest families whose hospitality really touched me.
Wroclaw is such a lively city full of colours and we also got to catch a wonderful sunset light at the end of their ceremony.
Marta and Ignacy, I wish you all the best!
